– So sorry for the delay, I was pretty sick this week! –
Wow! I am dazzled and speechless after the great succes of creasint. I could never have imagened that it would be so much fun. But it was! We had so much fun receiving all the packages. Who knew we all would be so curious? At 9pm we could finally open our packages. I don’t know what was more exciting: opening my own gift or getting a response about the gift I made for Mirjam…
I got this amazing handmade Christmas gift from Zemorah (who happens to be a good friend of mine!) She used wood from the house she and her husband are re-building and made a Christmas tree with nails and strings. And I love it! What’s really funny is that I am working on some cards for my Etsy shop with the same technic (but without the nails) so the present was spot on!
I went treasure hunting for Mirjam and found some amazing stuff. I bought this beautiful cone from April&May. I also found some lovely things at out local thrift store. One of them was a tray. Fun fact: Mirjams grandmother happened to have the exact same one! I made the wrapping paper myself with a potato stamp.
I really, really loved organizing Creasint. What I loved most about it was to see all these people connecting with each other. And there was so much love and happiness going around. I will organize this again next year. And you know what, maybe even sooner. Because giving (and getting) is pretty cool!
What I also love is all the attention for this initiative. Dutch magazine 101-woonideeen wrote a blog about it with links to all the others who wrote about their experiences. Please take a look!
